Practical Ideas Grounded in Real Business Experience
Patrick’s insights are grounded in extensive experience in leadership, sales, marketing, and entrepreneurship.
After graduating cum laude from Georgetown University with a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service, he received a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarship for postgraduate studies at the University of São Paulo, Brazil. He went on to earn an MBA with honors in marketing from Thunderbird, one of the world’s top international business programs.
Patrick then developed a profitable Canadian and South American sales network for an industrial and agricultural equipment manufacturer. He later became president of his family’s furniture stores and helped increase sales by 300 percent in three years.
Today, Patrick serves as chief galvanizer of The Galvanizing Group, an online learning and coaching company that helps organizations improve results by strengthening relationships with employees, customers, and other key stakeholders. He is the author of The Connector’s Way, The Trusted Way, The Daily Connector, and The Daily Connector Journal. He also co-created The Relationship Building Academy™, which combines cohort coaching and online learning to help people develop practical habits that build trust, deepen connections, and improve performance.
A Commitment to Service
Patrick has been an active member of the Rotary Club of Portland for more than a decade and has served in several leadership positions, including president of its charitable trust. He is currently president-elect and will serve as president of the club during the 2027–28 Rotary year.
His international education, business experience, and community leadership have helped him connect with audiences across industries, cultures, and countries.
